  • Shmulik Aran, CEO and Chairman of the Board

    Shmulik Aran has been NextNine's Chairman of the Board since 2003 and holds the position of the company's CEO since 2007. Mr. Aran has more than 26 years of experience in the telecommunications marketplace in sales, pre-sales, product marketing, product management, and R&D management positions. Hailing from Ofer Hi-Tech, a leading venture capital firm, Mr. Aran has led several investment deals, performed complete turnarounds in portfolio companies and acts as a chairman, CEO, board member and observer in a range of companies in varied industries.

    Mr. Aran received his Masters degree in Electric Engineering from Tel Aviv University and Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Physics from the Hebrew University.

  • Tomer Bogin, Chief Operations Officer

    Tomer Bogin has more than 15 years experience in the technology space and joined NextNine in early 2008.  Prior to NextNine, he served at MassiveImpact in the position Vice President of Operations. Previously, Mr. Bogin worked with Mercury Interactive Corp for nearly 11 years where he served in a variety of technical and managerial positions in the US and Asia Pacific regions. In his last position with Mercury, Mr. Bogin served as Senior Director of Technical Operations where he managed Strategic Account Management, Pre-Sales, Professional Services and Support organizations across the Asia Pacific region.

    Mr. Bogin received his Masters in Business Administration degree from the University of San Jose and his Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Optimization Research from Tel Aviv University.

  • Michael Coden, VP Strategic Accounts

    Mr. Coden has more than 30 years of experience in high tech industry and joined NextNine in March 2003. Previously, he was founder and CEO of OIS, a semiconductor device company, Intraclub, a web services software company and Codenoll, a fiber optic network equipment manufacturer that he took public and subsequently sold to ADC Telecommunications, where he served as VP Marketing and Technology for Digital Video Products for four years. Most recently Mr. Coden was CEO of Digital Fairway Corporation an OSS software developer where he was instrumental in closing a 10 year multimillion dollar contract with EDS. He has won several industry awards, authored 16 patents, published numerous papers and a book.

    Mr. Coden has a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from MIT, a Masters Degree in Business from Columbia University, and a Masters Degree in Mathematics from New York University

  • Moshe Shani, VP Sales Europe

    Mr. Shani is an accomplished and passionate sales executive with over 15 years of diverse experience in R&D, marketing, business development and sales. Mr. Shani served as VP sales Europe for the video networking business unit in ECI and VP worldwide sales for the MMS business unit in Comverse. Additionally, he served as VP sales for various startup companies, where he built the sales organization from scratch. 
    Mr. Shani holds a B.Sc. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the Technion and an MBA from Tel-Aviv University.

  • Guy Itzhaki, VP R&D

    Mr. Itzhaki joined NextNine in 2000, and heads the company’s research and development department. Mr. Itzhaki has over 10 years of experience designing and building complex large-scale software solutions utilizing the latest cutting-edge technology. He is also responsible for implementing R&D methodologies at NextNine such as Agile and Scrum. He previously served as both Director of R&D and Software Team Leader at NextNine and as a software engineer at Amdocs.

    Mr. Itzhaki holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Mathematics from Bar-Ilan University.

  • Uri Ben-Or, Chief Financial Officer

    Mr. Ben-Or brings over a decade of broad experience in corporate finance, accounting, M&A transactions, IPO’s and operations. He served as the VP Finance of Glycominds, a leading biotechnology company, and as CFO of a spin-off from Telrad Networks, where he led all the corporate finance activities, fund raising and legal aspects of the company. He also served as a Corporate Controller at Menorah Capital Markets and as an Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
    Mr. Ben-Or holds a BA degree in Business from the College of Administration, and a MBA degree from the Bar Ilan University and he is a Certified Public Accountant.
