  • Shmulik Aran, CEO and Chairman of the Board, NextNine

    Shmulik Aran has been NextNine's Chairman of the Board since 2003 and holds the position of the company's CEO since 2007. Mr. Aran has more than 26 years of experience in the telecommunications marketplace in sales, pre-sales, product marketing, product management, and R&D management positions. Hailing from Ofer Hi-Tech, a leading venture capital firm, Mr. Aran has led several investment deals, performed complete turnarounds in portfolio companies and acts as a chairman, CEO, board member and observer in a range of companies in varied industries. Mr. Aran received his Masters degree in Electric Engineering from Tel Aviv University and Bachelors degree in Mathematics and Physics from the Hebrew University. 

  • Moshe Bar-Niv - General Partner, Ascend Technology Ventures

    Mr. Bar-Niv has served as a General Partner since 1998. Mr. Bar-Niv held various executive positions at Fibronics International, Inc., Motorola Communications and Intel Electronics Ltd. He also currently serves on the Board of Directors of several companies including NextNine. Mr. Bar-Niv holds Masters and Bachelors degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management from Ben-Gurion University.

  • Avishai Silvershatz - Managing Partner, Infinity Venture Capital Fund

    Mr. Silvershatz has extensive entrepreneurial experience, having founded several software companies including Verisity and ScanVec. He has served as a senior consultant assisting private investors in screening early stage high-tech companies. Mr. Silvershatz holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the Weizman Institute of Science (Magna Cum Laude) and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from Ben Gurion University (Cum Laude)
